Facing Problem while opening some folders

I'm using windows XP. i'm facing problem while i try to open some folder all the window get close.
Please Help me.

XP has a 'feature' to provide a preview. Image files, HTML pages, video clips, MP3s, etc are all previewed. If you have several video players and more than one are associated as a default player can cause the crash because each one of the player is trying to make the preview. Configuring these players so that only one is the default player may fix the problem.

The issue you are facing is explorer.exe crashing on you. Disable 3rd part enhancements for shell context menus, desktop, etc.

If u want to play all type video then just install klitecodec pack, it'll enable the 'wmp' as universal player. And uninstall all other video players like vlc,real,quicktime etc and dont do full install dvd writer software like nero
