External hard drive not showing a partition

my external hard drive got disconnected somehow (may be loose contact).It had 3 partitions.I was saving something on that partition which is is not being shown after i connect properly.other 2 partitions are being shown only.

Please suggest me something !

That usually happens for external HDD which gets disconnected without properly Removing it in Windows. The drive partition is still present except that Windows sees it as an Unpartitioned drive. It should show up in Disk Management.

If it is a Cased External HDD, connect the HDD to the motherboard IDE / SATA slot directly. Then try this.

The best option is to Recover that partition using a good Partition / Disk Recovery tool (Easy Recovery Pro or any other). Then Repartition or Reformat the Partition using Disk Management. It should now get detected in Windows.
