I am getting this error in WindowsXP_SP2 .. with Autopatcher updates Installed.

Proxy Desktop: Explorer.exe - Application Error
The instruction at "0x01604213" referenced memory at "0x00e8ad58".
The memory could not be "read". Click on OK to terminate the program
--ok--


I Just keep getting this error, again n again

The instruction at ... referenced memory at ......... could not not be read

Its not specific to any application .. bcoz it comes while running virtualdub, nero, firefox .. ya most of the time.
I have WinXP SP2 and all the updates, on AMD A64 2800+, ASUS K8N, 768mb of ram... I have tried Ram on differnent pc .. RAM is fine.
I cant figure out whats this problem

any help will be appreciated!!

well i dont know what is causing this problem but i can suggest 2 things

ok if u donot get a proper solution in this forum u can do the following...

first.....
try changing the ram...(like u have tried ur ram in a different pc...this time try a different ram in ur pc)

if it does not work..

second.....
try re-installing windows...

u can follow above steps if u dont get a proper solution from others..
