Explorer Crashing_ request Help

    windows explore is crashing when I try to close the explorer or close some programs,
    It generates fallowing error message.

    EXPLORER caused an invalid page fault in
    module <unknown> at 0000:01eaf9d8.

    - check RAM , register error usually due to it if u got 2 modules , trying running the pc on each on seperately
    - sometimes when ur cpu fan stops and cpu overheats or is overclocked u might get those errors . check the temp of system .
    - do u get the error in safe mode ?

    Explorer Crashing

    I am using Win 98 on drive C:/ and win Xp On drive D:/
    The problem occurs on win 98

    Try reinstalling the IE or upgrade it! I think this can solve!

    Thanks to all my friends, The problem was solved by installing security patches to IE from windows update option from Microsoft web site

    i had a problem in win98. whenever i open an exe file an error comes this is an illegal problem and will be shut down (somethig like that. don remember exactly). guess what i did
    upgraded to winxp
