You (or we) just can't do that.

You were just tagging the wrong way. It's @ followed by the exact username without any spaces.

I did that. Didnt work anyway.

I will be updating tapatalk again later. Hope it doesn't break anything. Report here if it does, I will post when the update completes.

The last problem was a tapatalk bug where updating it and importing a new XML does not update the version number in the plugin manager.

Not that anyone cares, but just FYI.

I have updated tapatalk to 5.1.3, please confirm that it all works well on all platforms/devices. I checked on Android and iOS (Nexus 7 and iPad).

The file uploading problem is something that's irritating, as there's no precedent for it on other forums

I think that should be the least of the problem. Most of the "files" which member upload are pics. And for that we have many hosting sites like imgur and minus.
I think the next think to tackle is enabling BB code in signatures. Only few tags like bold, link and spoiler.

Also may I please suggest making size of signatures fixed to a smaller font size than normal text? It should look aesthetically good.
