Epson C41 SX not compatible with Vista?

I had this Epson C41 SX printer for the last 5 years & it worked fine with my previous laptop with XP. Now that I have changed my latop with Vista home preinstalled, the printer refuses to print.
All software gets installed without a hitch,& it even shows as a connected printer in the control panel options.
Whenever, I give the print option nothing happens & it shows "0" items pending for printing.
I have checked all connections & it is perfect.
Is this old Epson C41 SX not compatible with Vista.
Please help someone.

if i am not wrong then vista doesnt support the devices with serial port and this model of printer is connected to pc via serial port. May be that could be one of the reason.
