hey guys.. im workin on a case mod.. so needed some electronic help..
i needed help on creating a momentary switch for operating a 12V circuit.. probably using some logic gates or some IC's..
needs to be like a latch.. on pressin once=turns on, pressin again=turns off.. and so on..

i found some references,, doubtfull bout which to use

Well my suggestion is to use FlipFlop.

Coz
1. I have tried it, it works nice.
2. As u r asking to work on 12V & it can work on 12V.

Get a 12volt spdt relay with contact rating >= load to be driven(in your case 2amp or more). You may also try a pcb mount type(for compactness).
As for the ckt look here... *ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/Bill_Bowden/page9.htm
