EA Games CD-KEY Problems

Hi guys,
I tried to install NFSU2 and Battlefield 1942 but after i give in the CD-KEY,
then the Installshield program crashes! And I can't install it!!!
Plz guyz!!!Help!!!Thank you :D
I use a machine with Win Xp Home.
DX 9 if you need more Infos just PM me!!!

that must be a problem with the cd. cos i guess u must be having a pirated cd, so these things are bound to happen. in case u have a original cd. get it replaced.

u wont be able to install the game.

Hanging, since 2004..
if u have the orignal cd then calll support , if have pirated one , help urself to find the key on net

THX but I have a original CD (borrowed from my friend, but it works on his PC). No, I don't think it's coz the Cd_KEY is already usead etc. even the Serialz from the net didn't help :!: :cry: :cry: :cry:

@vij26 ur sys has the config to run the game at a low resl. i dunno wat the prob is.. mayb the cd drive has any prob.. cos u said one more game also crashed.. or ur computer doesn accept legal copies :wink: :lol:

EA uses crappy Installshield to install. So this seems more like a Installshield problem. Try asking them at: *www.installshield.com/.

Sorry but i tend to disagree.............in all my years of gaming i've never had a problem with installing games of EA. They also have an excellent tech support.........e-mail them and you should get an answer in two working days time.
Check the cd for any physical distortions and scratches that could also be the problem.

I just have to say...dont talk about EA and its installers...coz they are worldclass game developing company.
As rohan mentioned ...I have never experienced problem with fifa2k,2k1,2k2 and cricket 97,2000,2k2 and also games like f1 2002 and madden 2003.
