Hi
Im trying to use email client provided with K300i and I hope you will help me in setting things up.
Connect Using : HUTCH_GPRS
Protocol: POP3
Incoming Server: pop.gmail.com
Incoming Port: 995
Encryption
Incoming Server: TLS_SSL Domain: pop.gmail.com (Is correct?)
Outgoing Server: TLS_SSL Domain: smtp.gmail.com (Is correct?)
Mailbox: (User id without @gmail.com)
Password: ********
Outgoing Server: smtp.gmail.com
Outgoing Port: 465
Email Address: (User id with @gmail.com)
Download: Headers and Text
From Name: Empty
Signature: Empty
Copy Outgoing: Off
Check Interval: Off
So, I have the above settings and while doing send&rec it displays "Finding Server", which never happens. I am in India and using services of Hutch. I am able to browse the net without any problem.
I have also noticed that all other Java applications also fail to establish a connection (have tried 3/4 apps).
Please help.
With regards
Yogesh M
