I have LG GSA 4163B DVD ram drive. its max rite speed is 16x . i bought a few cpeepo DVD for 10bucks here which were rated 8x . But i could see 16x in the list !! . I tried riting at 8x . the process got stuck at 1% . had to reboot the system and dvd i tried burning has become useless. Why and what is hapeening ? this wasnt happening before and i can write ( i mean continue in 2nd session ) at 8x in my old discs . But i can write new discs ( now available in market ) only at 4x .this thing is now happening always now . Previously i use to get only 8x in the list . Should i update my firmware ? is it risky ??
