dvd camcorders

hi friends i want to buy a camcorder.so i have some doubts to clarify.can u please help me out

1.are dvd camcorders good.i dont want to buy dv camcorders now.
2.is there any quality improvement in video if there are more megapixels. for example can 3 megapixel camcorders give better video quality than 1 megapixel camcorders.
3.is it advicable to take a .80 mega pixel camcorders
4.which model in sony or canon will usuggest.my budget is around 25k.
5.any othere suggestions are also appreciated

I would say dont go for DVD cams

Go for new HDD cams from Sony..

For DVD Editing U need to keep on inserting new DVDs.. as well 1 DVD will max record till 45 mints.. so every 45 mints need to change DVDs

while HDD cams u can record till 30 GB is full

Sony costs around 39000 in India.. If anyone is coming from US then tell them to bring for u.
