Duplicating Ubuntu Install

The Linux Guy
Hey Guys,
I currently have an installation of Ubuntu in virtual box. I want to switch it to vmware workstation. Is there anyway by which there could be created a bootable iso of my current install, so that in the vmware workstation, I don't have to download loads of stuff again, that I had downloaded for the current install...

those are different ways of cloning the hard disk to vmware hdd format.
Are there not any ways to create installation ISOs from your current installation of ubuntu 12.04 ?

i don't think so.also converting hard disk will do what you want to achieve.after conversion your virtualbox hard disk with its ubuntu install & all apps will run exactly the same in vmware.
