Dude i'm screwed

Plz help me.

Have no clue what to do.


I needed dto open some files stored on my desktop of Xp from Vista.
So I changed the permissions.

Now when I open my desktop of Xp from Xp it says Desktop is not accesible.

But it opens from Vista.
Plz help.

Can moderator help me??

Now you will be able to access the entire contents.

But i want to access in Xp. Its already workin in Vista.

I said you to do the same in Windows XP. Take ownership of folder.

Thanks a lot. it got soilved but a new prob. is occuring.
No during welcome scrren, it haults for 30 sec. and a error is displayed :- "Windows cannot find the user profile, and is loading the default profile."

Then Pc starts normally.

Now what to do ??/

Check ur Profile folder in c- docs n settings ..........

Right Click My Computer icon Go to properties.
From the Pop Up window choose Hardware Tab and then reduce the time counter to 0seconds.

Double click the profile listed in "Available profile tab" and check "Always include this profile when windows start up".

And then REBOOT. This will solve ur problem.

Soory guys to disturb again.

It didn't work.

The problem is in user profile and not in hardware profile.

its still gives me 30 secds.

I'll upload the pic of the error if its not clear.

Nice to hear that one problem is sorted out.
Regarding other..

I suggest you to remove that account. It might have got corrupted. Before doing that copy the entire data to some other place.
Then,
Logon to Windows as ADMINISTRATOR
> Start
> Control Panel
> User Accounts
> Click on the User account which is giving problems
> Click "Delete the account"
> Restart PC

Kiran_tech_mania, if you have only one profile and too is Administrator profile, then you can't delete that profile...

yes and i'm the administrator only !!!!!!!!!!!
