Guys!

I noticed one thing in my Windows XP Professional with SP2.

I hv "ASUS P5GL MX" mobo and "P4 3GHz HT 64-Bit" proccy and monitor is "Samsung SyncMaster 510N".

What I noticed that Device manager has 2 same Processor entries:

"Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.00GHz".

And also 2 entries for Monitor:

"SyncMaster 510N,SyncMaster Magic CX511N/CX501N".

I want to know the reason!

It was not so recently, when I had 810 mobo and P3 with same Samsung SyncMaster.

Is it normal in case of P4 3GHz HT 64-Bit and ASUS mobos?

Or should I change some settings in BIOS? :?:

Those double entries for the processor are due to Hyperthreading,as XP sees 2 logical processors. The 2 monitor models u see are just the models supported by that particular driver.
