Doom 3 settings problem

Hi guys...I run doom 3 on my comp at med settings...With Bump mapping and high q spl effects enabled i get abt 25-30 fps...the problem is that each time the game starts these 2 options ae disabled and i hav to manually enable them each time i start the a game...
I dont want to do this every time...

On your system can you even manage those settings???

Try 640*480 low with everything off and tell whether there is a performance boost or not.

As for your problem, don't know exactly but maybe something to do with ini file.

Yup my system can easily support these config...25-30 fps is playable..

ya, i have the same config........doom3 runs fine at med 640 x 480
but those options r always enabled on my comp.....

edit the doom cfg file , enabl the options in cfg to enable these efects . Also refer to www.tweakguides.com
