Do we need to download any patch for Darksiders 1 and 2 after installing the game using the DVD?

Hi All,

I've ordered Darksiders 1 and 2 from flipkart and now my internet connection at home is broken.
So I wanted to know whether internet connection is mandatory while installing the game.... i.e,...do i need to download something extra from their respective sites before i can actually play these games?

They have to be activated on Steam AFAIK. And if there has been a update released, then yeah tooth l you have to download it.

Yes. You will definitely need Steam to activate DS1 & DS2.

3.2GB patch! That will eatup 4GB/month in a single day! Are these games can be only playable on Steam?

@gearbox : battlefield 3 demands a 5 GB patch.and guild wars 2 demands 12 gb patch
