Do any body suggest me a solution

I got a P4-1.7, D845WN, 128 SDRAM,
40GB, with Win 98 in C: and Win XP
in D: partition.I use a Foxpro based
My own programme for accounts.

I had modified the MsDos.sys file
with "BootGUI=0" and the autoexec.bat
file contains a single line for starting
the Foxpro Accounts program.The Config.sys
file contains a single line "FILES=40".
So when ever I start computer it starts
quickly in Dos Mode and My FoxPro based
Accounts Programme starts.I can also
use this programme from 98 or WinXP.

My database is around 25000 entries
and when I search it and Do various
other Accounts related works in
Dos mode it takes quite a amount of
time than in XP OR 98 mode (4-6 times
more time). In XP OR 98 it works very
fast but in DOs it is Slow.

Can you give me any solution.. ?

I don't think that you can speed up any applications in DOS ...
My question is why do you want to use DOS... when U have 998 and XP?

And if you really want to use DOS
The here is a faster way...


Open Windows 98
Press Windows + R to open the run command
type command and press enter
This will open the command prompt
Press Alt + Enter to switch to fullscreen

Now I think your dos application will run faster ...

Or try the same in Windows XP...
