DKU-2 and Nokia 6610

Hi, I bought a new Nokia 6670 and it came with a DKU-2 Data Cable.
It works fine with it.

But when I try to connect it with Nokia 6610 which my father owns, the computer shows "USB Device not recognized....".
It also happenned when I tried to connect it to another Nokia model which fits DKU-2.

What's the problem. Plzzzzzzzzzzz help.

i think 6610 does not work with dku2 and works with dku5, even though port is same, but this time, i'm not so sure. correct me if i'm wrong

u r right ... nokia 6610 works with dku-5 not dku-2 .

Because N6610 is not compatible with DKU-2 Cable. You have to buy DKU-5 (Price Rs. 1800) for the N6610. For more info on compatibility visit here *www.nokia-asia.com/nokia/0,,34250,00.html#ade2

Thx for enlightening me.
I just got the notion coz DKU-2 fitted in the port of 6610.
I'll buy DKU-5 soon.
