Hi Guys,
Thinking of upgrading my Home Desktop display this season.

Display will be primarily used for (Usage)
  1. Console Gaming Sessions (8-10 hours/week)
  2. Movies/Videos (6-7 hours/week)
  3. Occasional Web Surfing (3-4 Hours/week)
For remaining purposes my 3.5 year old HP DV5-1015tx is more than enough :))

Would Like following features (Requirements)
  1. Full HD
  2. HDMI Port
  3. Fast Response Time (Gaming is one of the main requirements)
  4. Upper Cap of 15K
  5. LED Backlighting
  6. Audio out (optional - Its far better to take sound input by HDMI then to hook seprately)
  7. VGA Port (optional - my 7 year old 6600Gt can die any time )

After doing some initial market research I was surprised to see that nowadays one can easily buy medium size full fledged LED TV in my price range

But basically with DTH even monitors can easily act as TV

So I was looking at the following Models

TVs
Philips 22 Inches Full HD LED 22PFL4556: Television

Samsung 22 Inches Full HD LED UA22D5003BR: Television

Monitors
Dell 24 Inch Full HD WideScreen LED Monitor (ST2420L)

Samsung PX2370 - Desktop Monitor

Samsung P2370MS - Desktop Monitor

Out of above models Philips 22PFL4556 has really caught my eye with Direct Divx Play via USB, Refresh rate of 120Hz, and affordable rate not sure about Response time though.
Also Samsung PX2370 is very good with host of connectivity options and ultra fast response time of 2ms athough its GTG.

Guys Please give your opinions about above models and based on my requirements and usage if you have any other model in my mind please post the same as well

You've missed the Asus and DELL, IPS panel models. Will get back with the model number or google it. 15k gets you 23" of both.
