Display problem

hi,
i have a lenovo laptop with 14.1" tft widescreen. The problem is when i play the digit cd or any games such as rise of nations, the screen shrinks like in the image below

I installed all display drivers.. games such as claw v1.2 runs well in wide screen resolution what is the problem should i change any settings

its coz u have a widescreen with a ratio 16:10 and these games/apps or even some videos have ratio of 4:3 (so that anyone having a normal screen can dosent have a prob).

so chill! there is nothin wrong

only games having a option of widescreen can be played in widescreen! rest will get black area on de sides!
