Difference Ram will make

Hey Guys i am thinking to upgrade my ram to 3gb (adding 1gb more ram).How much difference will it make for gaming @ 1024*768 res. with my present configuration:
2Gb DDR2
E2140 dual core
Nvdia 8400gs

most probably you wont get any noticeable difference in gaming

APPS LIKE photoshop may perform better but its better if you forget about "game boost".

i know my gpu is slow but remember at my res very good gpu isnt needed..
i play Fifa 12 with 30-40fps

Lol even difference of 2-3 fps means a lot.
And if you Play Fifa 12 Only.You wont need that much RAM anyway.

RAM wont even give a boost of 2-3 fps with that GPU.

Woah woah woah.....have a little pity on your poor GPU. If you are into heavy gaming, upgrade your machine.

Games are mostly GPU centric, RAM helps in multitasking on your system.But there are few games out there Elder Scrolls V which depend heavily on CPU.

The games which you have suggested can be improved much-much more by using atleast with an entry level DX11 GPU.Upgrade your stuff buddy.....
