hey guys just thinking of what's the difference between dvi and d-sub i wanted to buy samsung 740 lcd 17'' monitor. but it comes in two types 740N with dsub and 740B comes with dvi which gives better performance.
DVI gives a better image. The signal is transmitted digitally from the graphics card to the monitor with DVI, while with D-Sub the signal is analog.
If the price difference isn't much, get the monitor with DVI.
D-sub is a analog signal .......DVI is better so get a DVI model......D-sub is mainly used for CRT monitors....MAKE sure ur graphics card has a DVI output..
