There is No such as Vista MSDN. . . yes there is Vista RTM, RTM means Release To Manufacturer. . . :D or rather the Last test release. . which is considered as the final product and which will be availavle to public sell.

But Those who are subscribed to MSDN of Microsoft can or may download Vista using the user name and password, they will get same version which are available to public sell, you may learn about Vista version from here,

There is VISTA MSDN, which is only available to MSDN subscribers, and some countries like india offer that vista to some organizations of social welfare..

and i think you both MVP's are having TECHNET subs.. :D you can visit MSDN site and or email an executive and confirm this.. :p

well i think what the guy doesn't get is that the copy he has in his hands is of Vista Ultimate but was procured from MSDN(by an MSDN subscriber probably) coz MSDN n Technet subscriber copies hv the Logo printed on em . my Technet copies of Longhorn Server n many other hv Microsoft Technet printed on em besides product name .

@Shantanu
What we were trying to say is there is no "Vista MSDN" thingy. Its Vista Ultimate which was given under MSDN subscription. ;)
