For 3D modelling and rendering you need a professional GPU also called a workstation GPU. Nvidia offers the Quadro line , with ATI you get FireGL aka FirePro3D.
NOTE : Workstation GPU's are not comparable to normal GPU in terms of gaming performance so if you want to game stick with a normal GPU , else if you are serious about 3D rendering etc..then only go for this type of GPU.
You would need to check up with dealers because these cards are not that easily available in the local computer markets
