Right off the assembly line
Without knowing, I bought a Dell laptop with a monitor that is not TFT.
Only after buying, I found that the monitor is very difficult to use. Can I return the laptop and exchange it with dell. I spoke to cc and they told to email them and I wrote email to them and waiting for their reply. I received the laptop on 10th this month.

For laptops, Dell has a return policy like this - if you return it within 21 days, you get 100% money back. If you return it between 21-30 days, then they deduct shipping charges. Beyond that, they dont accept returns.

I think its the same for monitors, but better confirm with them, in case they are going to deduct a considerable amount, its better to sell the monitor to someone else who may need it.

Just have a read here.

There's a separate department which takes care of this. If you haven't got their contact details, ask the sales rep. If your laptop was purchased from Dell SMB, you can email India_Care_HSB@dell.com (not sure what their contact email is for Home). Don't waste any more time as the whole process may take some time.
