Deleting folder with no name

I created a folder with no name (as desribed in this month digit magazine) ... But now I am not able to delete it or rename it ... either from windows or from dos ... Can anyone pls help me to remove tht folder ... I am running vista home premium ...

Cant say about vista.......
But try to delte with the help of Unlocker or HiJack

left this forum longback
remove it via linux live-cd.if it is a ntfs partition,make sure the linux distro supports ntfs-3g for writing into ntfs partition. knoppix is one nice distro.

The Best I could find when I was searching Google, Donno if it works, but do try it!

Install, then right click on the folder, select unlock. It might pop up a window saying there is no lock on the folder, select an action. In the drop down select Delete, and voila! its gone.

prob solved... I edited the registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE - SOFTWARE - MICROSOFT - WINDOWS - CURRENT VERSION - EXPLORER - DESKTOP - NAMESPACE ... search for "4336a54d-038b-4685-ab02-99bb52d3fb8b" Public folder ... Delete this key ... Folder removed....

Digit should have posted the way to remove the folder also .... :mad:
