Hi Guys....

In my Company, I got a very good system ( I'm a Graphic Designer)as compared to anyone (include my colleagues and the hardware guys). Now the problem is In my absence, these people (hardware guys), they put on the computer without my knowledge and watch porn movies and visit porn websites which sometime install unnecessary softwares(spy) on my computer. I cannot point out anyone as there are many guys out here and all of them are working for long time with the company and i recently joined.

The other day, I've cleared the entire system and now i'm only getting this error when i start my computer.

Please help me solving this.

NOW THE BIG PROBLEM....

The main problem is I don't want anyone to access my computer in my absence. I'm the administrator user of my system and know the password, but I found that still as these hardware guys don't know my login password, they r able to access it. They are hardware/Software guys with knowledge. How I can defend them to put on my system in my absence.

Please help me....

As for that error, i guess its some file loaded at startup. To remove that Start>Run>msconfig and Click on the Startup tab and uncheck the one you have posted about and all other programs that you wont like to load on startup.

As for misuse of your PC by fellow employes, God save you! Speak to them about it.

Moving to Software Troubleshooting....

It looks like your system is connected with the company server, and that's the reason they get easy access to your system. However, Why don't you try to set the BIOS password (admin) and see if they can boot into the machine at all.

The BIOS password is the basic level of hardware protection you can have. U still have to keep your Windows XP Admin password.

With this, u should also keep changing your password every time you logout of the system.

read this article on win xp security *pubs.logicalexpressions.com/Pub0009/LPMArticle.asp?ID=173

they maybe accessing ur computer without even knowing a password!!

Did the other hardware and software guys install the os on ur system.
Then they may have made an extra invisible account.
How do u login into ur xp system?
Do u use The easy switch or the Username pass interface?
If u r using the username password interface then try to switch to the Easy switch mode.
Then goto system manager and check if there are any extra accounts.
If there then disable them.

Bios password also can be reset easly by hardware guys. Give XP log on password and Bios password. Change it regularly

It's not about passwords. You should complain to you IT dept. head. The "hardware" guys who should be around to prevent problems, are the ones responsible for messing around in your case. Ironical.

You could also run a free software like "Parental Filter" in total stealth mode. This should discourage them.

use all above tricks mentioned by forum members.

Go to control pannel/administrative task\computer management and check for any user account created by them. disable guest also if not done early.

disable network card so that they can not use the network server password to log on
