Do anyone of you know or using any program that will run in background
and will record the total data transfered (downloaded & uploaded)
and will let us keep a record of our data transfer because many
connection such as broadband has data limit.....
and crossing that limit is really priced heavily
i will be very thankful if i get a +ve response.......



Plz. don't advice to double click the connection tray and see the bytes "Recieved" & "Sent".

But remember that if you are on LAN, the results might be exaggerated.
i.e, If you have transfreerd only 5 MB over the internet,it may show you 5.5 MB or greater.
I have seen this myself!

I use Magitime for having an eye on my data transfer and believe me - its really good! I have tried several software such as Du-MEter etc but, finally settled on Magitime! It will show you the Data Transfer and expense reports. Will export the reports into Word/Excel! You can also configure it for Night time where you might have free data. You can get it by typing Magitime in Google!

^^ These software come under "Bandwidth Monitor" category. If you know exactly what you are looking for, google will give you the software for these immediately. Otherwise, you will have to search using guessed keywords. That is why these forums come in handy. Also, searching will take a lot of time and many people on the forum still use Dialup. It is faster to post this request, come back later and see the results...

Also, I too recommend Magitime as it is very good and easy to use. It is available at *magistonesystems.com/magitime.htm
