In Pursuit of "Happyness"
The Innovation Icon 2007 is nation wide contest conducted by CSC India to encourage young talent and to provide management and engineering students across the country an opportunity to build exciting innovative applications using opensource technologies. The contest builds upon CSC "Pragyan", a unique collaborative open innovation network (COIN) launched earlier this year and draws the faculty and students community to produce innovative applications on COIN platform.
The contest carries handsome prizes - Winners would get "Innovation Icon" title and top three teams would receive a prize money of Rs.1 lakh, Rs.75K and Rs. 50K respectively. In addition, there would consolation prizes and top three teams would get an opportunity to explore employment options with CSC India.
