creative sound blaster x-fi surround 5.1 USB card.

hi,
I need to buy the creative sound blaster x-fi surround 5.1 USB card for my laptop to get true 5.1 surround sound.
Anyone know what is the cost of the card & from where i can buy it.

I also got many negative feedbacks that it has driver problems in windows vista.
Can anyone able to solve this problem?

You may have to but external amp or decoder, use your audio out of laptop in passthrough mode to external amp.

The creative decoder converts a stereo in to 5-7.1 output.
so, it means virtual surround sound, not true surround.
I have only 2 options to get true 5.1 sound from laptop.
1st is usb sound card- least expensive.
2nd is creative ExpressCard Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio Notebook & Breakout box.
