Creating A Disk Image & Restore Data From MSDOS

Hello Friends! Can anyone guide me how to take an image file for my entire "C" drive shich contains my Windows XP Operating System. I want to create a image and store it in a DVD so that incae if I want to reload my OS later, all I have to do is format C: and load data from the image DVD through MSDOS. Mind you, I want to restore the entire contents along with the OS from MSDOS. Which software is the best in this and is Nero good enough???

Is there any other software that can be used. How about Nero. Is there any way to do it from nero and is it good enough...

Cannot be done with nero. Try Acronis TrueImage. One of the best out there.
