Try Vista's disk management. Control Panel -> Admin tools -> Computer management. Click on disk management.

You can shrink/expand drives using the vista's disk mgmt tool. Test it first and then try it on part. with imp. data.
__________
10gig is not enough for vista partition. Make it 15gig or you will run out of space soon.

Wandering in time...
Vista installation itself takes around 5-6 GB of space...
Also Vista doesnt start installation in a drive that is not ntfs formatted and has less than 10GB of free space(or was that 12 GB??)..

I would say, ur partition selection is pretty incorrect.
It seems u r having a 80gb harddisk, so u will get around 75 GB to use.
U are giving only 5 gigs to XP whereas it will be better to give atleast 8 gigs.
Vista 12 gigs
Softwares and Internet and Music can share the remaining 55 gigs according to ur need.
If ur harddisk is entirely new (which i think is), u can use fdisk from the win98cd.

I wud suggest u insert the winxp cd and create ur primary partition of 8 gigs and install xp. Then use some partition manager to create the remaining partitions as I doubt u will not be comfortable with fdisk.
Using fdisk.
if u want to repartion ur HDD, boot from a floppy disk or win98 cd.
Enter fdisk in command prompt.

Select option 3) Delete Partitions
In the new screen Select 3) Delete Logical partition

Repeat until u delete all logical partitions

Then
Select option 3) Delete Partitions
In the new screen Select 2) Delete Extended partition

Now
Select option 3) Delete Partitions
In the new screen Select 1) Delete Primary partition

Now exit fdisk and restart ur PC.

Again start fdisk. (start from here if it is a new hdd)
Now select option 2.)Create Partition
1.)Create Primary partition
It wud ask if u wish to allocate all free disk space to tis drive. Say no
Enter a size for primary partition.
It wud ask if u want to make tis partition active.

Say yes.

Now select option 2.)Create Partition
2.)Create Extended partition
Now here when It asks if u wish to allocate all free disk space to tis drive. Say YES

it wud now prompt No logical drives defined. Do u wish to create logical drives.

Say yes
Create logical partitions of you r preferred size. Tis process will continue until free space is completely allocated. You can hit Esc to return back.

Now after u finish finalising ur partitions exit fdisk.

Now format all these drives and restart.
