GTA 5 is not out, how can we speculate on the performance?
Anyways, speaking from personal experience, unless u can afford a very good laptop, better go with a desktop. They are cheaper, much faster and easier to upgrade over the years

Don't settle for i3. If you're taking the Intel path then settle for nothing less than a core i5. For monitor get a 21.5 inch one. Don't egt VS series psu instead get Seasonic PSU.

Intel i5 750 2.66 Ghz
2gb ddr3 ram corsair
24inch dell LCD
Xfx radeon hd5850
Cooler master 550w
Cooler master elite 335 cabinet
500gb HDD
Logitech key and mouse

How much is it worth? I quoted 26k and this is a uses PC, 2nd hand

Don't get that because if by any chance the motherboard goes bad you will not be able to get a replacement motherboard easily.

Thanks man for mobo risk.
I got 1more quote for a pc with i7 3rd gen,24gb ram, cooler master PSU and cabin , 1tb hdd with radeon 2gbGPU which is class 3 i think and he doesn't know GPU model(busy man) and 20inch screen for 40k mobo is Asus.
I feel this can become high end pc if I upgrade GPU later on.
Feels like I got the solid base for a ultra CPU later on.
I will go test CPU on Monday. So what do I need to check on this PC? I think I have a good offer here. My 1st time buying used PC.

Don't expect too much from the gpu as it's may be of HD3xxx series. 3d gen i7 and 24Gb ram sounds tempting but you're also paying 40k for this. Check whether it has any sort of warranty left. Don't go for CM extreme power or thunder psus.

Still I would suggest to go for a new setup because you're spending 40k and that's not a little money.

OP get these,

FX 6300 - 7.3k
Gigabyte GA 78LMT USB3 - 3.5k
Antec VP 550p - 3.5k
WD Blue 1TB - 3.5k (its not 4.2k, shopkeeper is ripping you off)
Deepcool Tesseract - 3k (or if you want ot cut costs, get Zebronics Chisel, it should cost arounf .6k w/o PSU)
HyperXBlu/Fury/Corsair Vengence 4x2 GB - 6k
R7 270X -14k

> Stay away from VS series
> That board is uneccesary as you are not overclocking
> For people who doubt the 78LMT, its working fine with FX 6300 everywhere
> I'd suggest to get Deepcool Tesseract.

dude a brand new i7 3rd gen atm in market costs around 20k...............lol buy watever u want from the remaining 20k...........

with this limited budget we wont suggest to go to i7, heck even i5 will be hard in this........

as u said no warranty left i think it will guaranteed to have some fault..........

ok if u want to check the system just in case u can try running cpu heavy benchmarks out there..........

Man! I thought buying a good PC was a piece of cake... Feels like appearing for 1995 10th board exams all over again.
All I wanted was to play gta5 on a high setting.. Lol I don't remember playing anything on high settings..

Adityak @ this can run gta5 like games? High or medium?

yes.no.maybe yes.maybe not. no one can say anything before GTA5 is released, but i do think that a 750Ti can handle it at medium(not sure)

So I'll skip the i7 ,24gb PC ? Humph. . noob question: so what happens when warranty runs out, no more free stuff huh!
Cant they be repaired? Repairs costs as same as buying a new one?

Bro I just found out this spec i7, 24gb ram etc has warranty. 1more year warranty.. He bought it 2years back.. He has all the boxes except the processors box.And GPU starts with 5xxx something. Price fixed for 36k.

He doesn't have the bill and the shop he bought it from closed down.. Can I claim warranty if needed with just the box? And i7s box is lost soooo..

i7 3rd gen - probably 3770
24gb ram - no issue
mobo - which mobo does he have?
cooler master PSU - which psu? give exact model. no compromise here
and cabin - not much issue
1tb hdd - check before buy!use softwares like crystal disk info to make sure hdd does not have any bad sectors.
with radeon 2gbGPU - give us exact model number. we cant say it is worth a buy without knowing this.
without bill, most reject warranty. hdd is exception though.
