CPU comparison

Hai

I have decided to go for AMD Athlon 64 3000+ (939 socket) and a msi motherboard with onboard graphics. There r few questions about my choice for AMD

1. Is there any heating problems ( have heard a lot)

2. will it perform equally to Intel 640 3.0GHZ (It supports HT, EMT64 with 2MB L2 cache).

no pal it dun hav heating problem or anythin such its quite and cool i m using it from last couple of months now and till date dun hav any problems wid it infact i m more then satisfied wid it.if u dun know den i shud tellu dat these dayz Intel P4 hav a lot of heatin problem i had Intel p4 3.0ghz prescott b4 dis AMD machine and i had loads of problem wid it specially heatin so i juz used it 4 3-4 months and bought dis one.and ya i guess so it will giv u da same performance as compared 2 P4 3Ghz may b better.

i m using MSI RS480m2 mobo and i m very much satisfied wid it as it has got a decent onboard GPU and dis is da best mobo u can get wid onboard grapix as far as i kno.but onboard sound isnt dat gud but u can go for a decent sound card any time wen eva u feel like.but its not da worst either its ok not so gud not so bad.

Hey...Heatin problem was with some Old model of AMD processor & that has be rectified a long back....But the rumor still continues....It really had affected its GoodWill!

AMD is & had been always better than Intel !
