Hi all,
My current PC configuration is as follows
P4 630 Prescott 3ghz + Intel Original 915 motherboard
1GB DDR Ram
2x80 SATA HDDS(+2 External)
Nvidia 6600 256MB Graphics card(PCI Express).
400W SMPS
OS:- WINXP
I have to upgrade my internal SATA HDD and the graphics card.I have 2 questions related to this--
1)What is the maximum size of HDD(eg 250GB,500GB) that i can attach to my PC , which my PC will support without any power problems
2)Also i have to purchase a new graphics card, which has DVI/HDMI port.So what card can i purchase safely so that my system supports it(and enough to run vista)
I can also give up the 2 SATA HDD's so that i can attatch a bigger one..Please suggest the appropriate configuration

your mobo is good enough for your proccy.
WinXP with SP2 you can whatever amount you wanna add. 500 GB or 1000GB its upto you. depending upon how good your PSU or SMPS is will it be able to take load of 3-4 internal HDD with a GPU and still keep things cool for you.

My suggestion goes for get a good PSU. rest is your choice. I hope others can suggest you with good gpu with dvi/hdmi port. and buy 500 GB HDD from Western Digital
