couldnt inst. SP2

I already had SP2,v.2055 installed on my XP Professional.
How can I uninstall it and then install the FINAL version of SP2.

I dont think you would need to uninstall. you could just install it over and it might uninstall the previous one itself or just install over it.

dont do that
u have to uninstall any RC build before applying the final version of sp2
goto control panel => add remove programs
make sure the "show updates" is selected
scroll down lookin for sp2 ... and uninstall
restart and then isntall sp2 final

also it is more advisable to do a fresh install with an sp2 slipstreamed cd
