corsair vengeance 1300 low bass?

Hi guys,
I bought the Corsair Vengeance 1300 headphones a day ago and I'm disappointed with its bass and volume output for the amount I payed for these(though volume problem somewhat solved by using my Fiio E6).Is it because I run it off my PC's on-board card(Asus P8Z68-M PRO) or am I stuck with a sub-par headphone? :-( .

Please advise.
