It did work in your place at first, right? And it worked intermittently, right? If you're doubtful about your cable and if you're again taking it to him, then take everything including cable, wire, connectors, HDMI/VGA cable everything you use in your place except monitor (that would be too many). If it's CPU, I don't think it will work intermittently. Since you've already ruled out PSU, it should be either motherboard (highly likely) or RAM. If you've debug speaker installed, you could hear the beep code when you don't install RAM.

There is no speaker and I tried to start without ram but nothing happened.
In few days, I will take it to the shop where it was assembled to get it disassembled, clean and then reassembled. Meanwhile I am thinking of getting a new laptop this week.

I went to the shop where it was assembled. Someone came from another shop with a cpu and it was having the same problem. It wad not getting switched on but power was there in front usb port. It was working in this shop. He took it back along with a new power cable. I will check with them in 2-3 days about it's condition.
