coreldraw starting problem

I have installed coreldraw X3 on my PC which has Windows XP with service pack2. When I click to open a new file or an existing file my CPU usage becomes 100% and it takes 3-5 minutes to open. Can some one help me? I have tried reinstalling the software but it didn't help. After corel starts there is no problem. It works smoothly.

generally it slows down PC while creating & loading corel environment. me too was facing the same problem few months ago. upgrade some memory resources, it will definitely work fine. also remember while running corel x3, confirm there is no other application running.
