Broken In

Recently my 8 year old laptop gave up. I need a new one. I understand for video editing, laptops are poorer choice compared to desktop, but I need mobility, so no other choice for now (mini ITX desktop option also slightly crawling in the corner of my mind).
I was surprised to see core i7 laptop within 50k, with 8 GB RAM (ASUS X550LC XX160D)

I almost finalized it and then realized its i7 4500U which is only DUAL CORE
This is a big no-no for video editing I guess.. I would atleast need a quad core.
I could see 3rd gen quad core laptops with 3610QM

Thats a quad core, but 3rd gen which is old.
1. Is it advisable to go for 3rd gen still?
2. From here, I could see there are 4th gen, quad core mobile i7 available, but oculd not find any laptop with these processors. Any thing available?
Update: I could find a 4th Gen Quad Core here (lenovo)

How about that one? Earlier I could not because, I preferred only Dell or Asus. Budget is 50k, max I could stretch to 60k.
