connecting 2 different wifi networks on different routers

Hi friends,

I have 4 floors and two wifi connections. Comway and anonet. Comway is setup on 3rd floor and through it, i have taken a cat 6 cable and joined a router on my 4th floor, then i used another cat6 cable which is going down to 2nd and 1st floors to connect 2 routers in a series. But as comway broadband was giving problems, i took another connection of anonet and got it installed on the 1st floor. Now I have two routers installed of two different companies on the 1st floor.

Now can i do a setup by connecting both of them together such that if one gets disconnected, i can use the other service provider on all the 4 floors ? I can connect them together using a CAT6 cable. Moreover, I have one jio router lying unused (if it can be used somewhere).

If yes, pls tell how to do it.

I doubt if you can connect two independent routers (that are connected to 2 different ISPs) like that. It may not serve any purpose. If I correctly understand, there are something called as Dual-WAN routers that allow you to use 2 ISP simultaneously with load balancing and all. But I have no much experience is setting them, so won't be of much help here.
Try to explore more in that direction as well.

I have not read the detailed specs, so can't be sure if this will work but this is just for example only.
Also you need to check what is the setup of your ISPs, if they are Ethernet based or Fiber etc.

I am also aware of these dual routers but as I already have the basic setup and don't want to buy another router, hence taking the advice.

Moreover, I am another jio router with me, is there any method to use it as an extender, if yes, please share.

Generally a router can be used as a wired extender. Even if router does not explicitly have AP mode. There are plenty of guides on YouTube that show how to do that.
You need to give it a try and check if your Jio router can work as AP. If it came from ISP, it might be locked for some settings.

Obviously the name suggests that it is from JIO, an isp. But what settings would be locked ?

Can't the routers provided by isp be used as an extender ?

Try hard reset your spare router. On back side the sticker may mention the default IP address, admin login userid password in case any.

I have no idea about ISP routers. I don't have Jio connection. The normal B2C consumer routers like TPLink, Dlink etc have a small button or a pinhole on back side, which when long pressed hard resets the router and it starts as if it's being setup for the first time.
