Confusion about Steam

Hi guys,

I wanna buy CS:GO, it's available for a 50% discount ($7.50) and i have a couple of doubts if somebody could clear them.

- Should i go for it or wait for the Christmas sale to kick in, in the hope that the game might get cheaper.

- Can i pay using my debit card, i read somewhere in this forum itself that you have to have a credit card to purchase from steam.

- Why does steam need my billing address if the all the transactions are online.

1. Its a pretty good deal and you should go for it.
2. Can't say about Christmas Sale, what if the price of this particular game doesn't drop at that sale ??
3. You need a Credit Card however I read that some debit cards can be emulated as Credit Cards

i have a ICICI debit card, any thoughts whether it might work or not....

Lol no steam won't send a bill. And that card should work fine

if you want to play it now, get it. it's a good deal.

if you can wait, wait till xmas sale. i'm expecting atleast a 66% off if not 75%. anyways not a much of saving.

Axis/ICICI debit card works fine with paypal so payment wont be an issue
