could free Email IDs(likeyahoo,gmail, sify...etc) configured in microsoft outlook or other outlook like program

i m familiar with outlookexpress and incredimail only,
u need pop acess and an automatic forwarding feature for that. earlier one could configure hotmail. now apparantly the free hotmail cannot be. so one of my old hotmail accounts has been configured, but a new one of mine could not be.
gmail can still be. download and use GmailConfig utility for that.
