I have about 7 - 10 PC's in office, but now I am planning to use Thin Clients instead of PC's. So I want to buy a new PC's which would act as a Server.
The server does the following job. Mostly the client PC's will have to access the internet, files on server need to run some word, excel and some other general software.
So kindly suggest me a Motherboard + Processor + RAM that I must buy for using as server. my Budget is around 10K to 12K
I was suggested AMD FX4100 Zambezi, however I think there must have been some difference between Server Varient of Processors and Desktop Variants of Processor in performance as Server.
Would a Gaming CPU be better as a CPU for Server.
