Sugest me a sandy bridge upgrade for a budget of 35,000. I would be buying it in mid April from my local dealer.
I will overclock my system in future.

My Existing Config-
Pentium D 820 @ 2.8 Ghz
Gigabyte DG 31
2 X 2 GB DDR2 RAM
WD Green 1 TB + WD 160 GB
Nvidia Radeon 9400 GT
LG DVD Writer
Intex Cabinet with a VIP Gold 400 W
LG 17 LCD Monitor at 1280 X 1024

This is the config I have in my mind-
i5 2500k
ATI Radeon 5770
Coolermaster Elite 430
Haven't decided on the motherboard and PSU
Don't include Hard Disks, Keyboard, Mouse, Speakers, UPS, DVD drive& Monitor
I will be buying a full HD monitor later.

And how would my existing rig perform as a HTPC? I would be connecting it to my LCD TV 42inch Bravia @ 1920 X 1080
Also, should i wait for bulldozer to arrive?

How is FSP Saga II 500W?
Should i invest in a CPU cooler?
How much can i overclock with the stock Cooler?
How is 5770 for gaming at 1920 X 1080 for the new games at medium settings. I won't have everything maxed out.

Its good, but its not Corsair. You'll be OCing as you said, so you'll be better off with Jas' suggestion of VX450. In fact, his whole config will allow you to do heavy gaming for the next few years.

With stock cooler, you can go from 3.3GHz(base) to 3.8-4GHz without much problems. However the temps are going to hover around 60-65 degrees while gaming etc. which is no problem IMO.

Get an aftermarket cooler if you go for moderate to heavy OCing(i.e 4-4.4GHz).
Else the stock will do fine.

But why do you want to OC it? The 2500k is a beast even at stock. I say don't OC now. See how it performs(It will blow your mind).

5770 will play games at decent framerate at full-hd with everything maxed out.

I will most probably go for Corsair. Also, are there any other options if it is not available?
Can FSP Saga handle this rig with a 5770 and no overclocking for now(or at max till 4 Ghz)?

FSP will handle, but don't use it with CM Elite 430. FSP has short cables and the Elite 430 is a bottom-mount PSU type cabby. You will need wire extensions.

Corsair is the better choice.

So, most probably i would go with this.
Any chance the price would go down by the next month?

i have purchased sapphire 5770 for 6900 rs. if you want to overclock you should invest in a good ram from corsair and a good motherboard from gigabyte with all solid capacitor design. and for cpu cooler consider cooler master.
