Compress movies but retain the quality!!

Here's how u can compress movies considerably and still not reduce a bit of its quality.Try this

I recommend the use of Virtual Dub for compressing movies

End the slot limitations for Megaupload like this:
For firefox:

Type: about:config in the Firefox address bar
-Search for general.useragent.extra.firefox
-Double click on it
-Change the default text with this: Firefox/2.0 MEGAUPLOAD 1.0

1 more thing for best results configure ur Virtual Dub like this:

After selecting the movie u wish to compress do this:
Go to Video:Compression and adjust the settings to:
VP7 General Profile->Configure->General->Bitrate-256
Quality->Good Quality,fast Encoding

In Advanced Options:
Datashoot Quantizer:95
Adjust Quantizer:
Min-4
Max-56

Also the lesser the encoding speed,more compressed the file and better the quality.

Are the sugesstions mentioned here are better than Nero?...I ask this as I've been encoding all my DVD's purchased abroad (as they are Dual layer DVD's) these I am encoding to Single layer DVD's (putting 2 movies in one DVD). While encoding these movies it takes me the exact length of the movie time...so if there is a better option which takes lesser time without losing quality would be great.
