components for 10k

one of my friend wants to upgrade pc..and the budget is 9k..can add 1k if needed..so 10k max..can not spend 10,001

he needs:

proccy
mobo
4 GB ram
gpu
psu

i know that all these components can not be added under this budget..what can i suggest him guys..he went to one street shop (dombivali-mumbai)..and that shop wala told him that he can give this system under 10k..but as u all know, we can not trust these shopwalas..he can give cheap components, cheap psu (generic) even..so now i have decided to go to lamington road with him to get good configuration..so please suggest configuration..

his work will only be playing games, watching hd movies etc..he needs at least 4gb ram..not able to decide about gpu..should i go with i3 2105 sandy bridge with on-die HD 3000 graphics + h67 or athlon proccy + 880G + entry level discrete gpu..?? he has older psu..but i have not seen it..obviously, it must be cheap generic psu..so fsp saga II 350w if it comes under this budget??

From your current post I can suggest the following-
AMD athlon ii x3 445 @ 3.4k
Gigabyte 880GM UD2H @ 4k (see if you can find a 785G based motherboard from gigabyte for 3k)
2GB DDR3 1333MHz @ 1.1k (no need of more than 2 GB for those requirements otherwise the config will overshoot the budget)
FSP saga II 350W @ 1.4k

Also i don't think that i3 2105 has been launched yet in India.

I know thats why I asked him to fill the template. I gave the config according to what he had given in the post.

@piyush, yup tht's the problem..he had 8k budget earlier..he increased 2k after my 100 requests..well, need to hunt for i3 2105 + h61..i think, it will be more demanding and requirement fulfilling for him coz of good onboard graphics than athlon system..

@cybertonic, thankx mate for ur valuable suggestion..sorry for not filling those questions as my friend is not upgrading entire system..and i've mentioned necessary things in first post i guess..so didn't think necessity of it..

any other suggestions are appreciable..
