1. Can anyone suggest the cheapest processor+mobo combination?
AMD/Intel doesn't matter. Mobo should hav onboard sound card.
2. How much does the cheapest cabinet costs?
3. Cheapest 80gb hdd? (is it available in 5400rpm)
4. How much does a dot-matrix printer costs?

amd sempron 2500 + mobo for arnd 5.5k or so

however it will probably perform like crap as well, rather spend 10k more if you want better booting and computer using speeds.

AMD is a better choice, all motherboards now come with onboard sound. A 64bit sempron with a asus k8v-mx would be ideal and enough for the given needs. Cabinet with SMPS will set you back by a grand or so. 80 gig hdds are now entry entry level, get a 7200rpm hdd. It makes a lot of difference and the price difference is just a few hundreds. Dot matrix printers are costly, Espon or TVS are the main players which cost around 8k.
