changing resolution using registry

Right off the assembly line
Hi guys, can anybody tell me how change resolution in windows 2000 & Win xp using Registry.

And how to change my username in this thinkdigit forum.

Please Advise.

Since you only have two posts in your post count, it would make more sense to create a new account instead of requesting a mod to change it... Probably if you PM a mod, he/she will say the same thing.

If you try to change resolution thru registry, it will require reboot to take action, unlike using the control panel... Anyway, see *www.tomshardware.com/forum/170178-46-display-resolution-setting-registry for some guidance... If it doesnt help, post again and we can check out more alternatives...
