change default search engine string in FF

hi all
when i search from the search box in the address bar in firefox, it always searches from google.ae as i am in uae now.
i want it to search from google.co.in or a google.com. Is it possible to change it?
i changed the about.config >> keyword.URL to *www.google.co.in/search?ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&sourceid=navclient&gfns=1&q=
but it doesnt help me!

can someone plz guide me?

The Keyword.URL config option is only for address bar searching. If you want to change behavior of search box, then use this add-on:
*addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/51000/
